Polski

The flashcard app that gets Polish.

Learn Polish words in a few minutes a day, each with the forms you need to use it. A native voice reads every card, and free decks take you from dzień dobry to B1.

Every word with its forms.

Polish changes a word’s ending, and sometimes its middle: pies, psa, o psie. Verbs come in pairs: robić while you do it, zrobić once it’s done. The decks keep the forms in each card’s notes, and AI adds them to the words you save.

  • pies, psa, psie
  • miasto, miasta, mieście
  • ręka, ręki, ręce
  • robić, zrobić, zrobię
  • brać, wziąć, wezmę
  • mówić, powiedzieć, powiem

pies · Dog

It comes back just as it starts to fade.

Each time you remember a word, Lymi waits a little longer before showing it again. A few minutes a day is enough, and the words you learned months ago stay with you.

Ready for the urząd.

Polish for Offices and Paperwork has 50 words and phrases for offices in Poland: the queue ticket, the window, the forms, PESEL and the residence card. Hear each one before you go.

Polish citizenship asks for Polish at B1. Since 1 July 2025 a post-secondary school certificate no longer shows it, so most people take the state B1 exam. The A1, A2 and B1 decks follow the state exams’ topics, one level after another.

A native Polish AI voice reads every card, so ą, ę, rz and szcz sound the way they should. Tap a word to hear it. If a card has its own recording, that plays instead.

Add a word from today’s lesson. AI writes an example and the forms you need, and marks the stress on the few words that break the rule. It fills only what you left empty and marks what it wrote.

Questions before you start.

Can Lymi say Polish words aloud?

Yes. Every card is read by a native Polish AI voice. Press play on any card to hear it.

Can I learn Polish from Ukrainian or Russian?

Yes. The ready-made Polish decks have meanings in Ukrainian and Russian as well as English, and their notes say where a Polish word only looks like a Ukrainian or Russian one. Lymi itself is in both languages.

Will it get me to the B1 certificate?

The A1, A2 and B1 decks follow the topics of Poland’s state exams, so they cover the words the B1 exam expects. They are not an official word list, and the exam also tests listening, reading, writing and speaking.

Does Lymi show where the stress falls?

Most Polish words stress the second syllable from the end, so their cards leave it out. A word that breaks the rule, such as muzyka, shows its stress when you turn the card: mùzyka.

Can my class use it together?

Yes. Whoever makes the cards shares the deck’s join link, and everyone who joins gets each new card as it’s added.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Lymi runs in the browser on your phone and your computer, and you can add it to your home screen. Your cards and progress are the same on both.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Lymi is free to use.
